These Terms and Conditions govern your access to the Aventurec website (https://aventurec.com), bookings at our 15-hectare eco-resort, and participation in our guided adventure services. By completing a deposit or checking into our facilities, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these provisions.

1. Adventure Activities & Safety Regulations

  • Nature of Activities: Aventurec offers over 30 years of legacy providing outdoor sports including whitewater rafting, guided river hiking, and zip line rides. These activities involve inherent physical risks.
  • Safety Protocols: All participants must wear correct protective equipment provided by Aventurec (including helmets, life vests, and paddles) at all times while participating, attend mandatory pre-tour safety orientations, and strictly obey guide instructions.
  • Substance Policy: For security reasons, anyone under the visible influence of alcohol, illegal substances, or impairing medical drugs will be banned from activities immediately, without any right to a refund.

2. Bookings, Rates, and Payments

  • Currency and Taxes: All prices listed on our site are displayed in Mexican Pesos (MXN) or US Dollars (USD). Prices are subject to local taxes unless specified otherwise.
  • Payment Conditions: To secure any room, cabin, hostel bed, or multi-day excursion package, a bank transfer, PayPal deposit, or credit card payment is required in advance.
  • Cancellations & Refunds: Cancellations made within the timeframes designated by your specific package terms qualify for booking modifications or partial refunds.
    Cancellations made outside these windows or “no-shows” result in full deposit forfeiture.

3. Weather and Force Majeure Policies

  • If extreme weather, flash floods, or unsafe river currents prevent safe travel or river descents, Aventurec reserves the right to adjust river routes, substitute activities, or reschedule tour dates to ensure participant safety. Aventurec is not liable for external travel losses (such as flights or external transfers) caused by weather-enforced cancellations.

4. Eco-Resort Regulations and Property Protection

  • Environmental Preservation: Our facility is situated across 15 lush hectares of orangegroves, coffee trees, and native gardens near the Filobobos River. Defacing local flora, disturbing wildlife, or littering inside the compound is strictly prohibited.
  • Damage Liability: Guests are directly responsible for any physical damage, breakages, or equipment losses caused to our private cabins, hostel spaces, open-air “palapa” dining restaurant, or rented gear. Repair or replacement charges will be billed directly to the account holder.

5. Intellectual Property

  • All original media, text layout, graphics, site source code, logos, and digital marketing materials on https://aventurec.com belong to Aventurec. Reproduction or distribution of these digital assets without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

6. Governing Law and Legal Jurisdiction

  • These terms and conditions are interpreted under the federal laws of Mexico and local commercial mandates of the state of Veracruz. Any legal mediation or judicial claims stemming from our services must be handled exclusively through the competent courts in Veracruz, Mexico, waiving any alternative international jurisdictions.
